Job Description

Position: Nursing Practitioner – Director of Nursing (Full-Time, Tuesday to Saturday, 9 AM – 5 PM, No Overnights, No Holidays)

Overview: Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to lead nursing and medical staff at a licensed ambulatory surgical center specializing in abortion and reproductive healthcare. The role involves direct patient care, clinical oversight, training, and policy development.

Responsibilities:

• Support clinical oversight of nursing and medical staff.
• Provide direct patient care, including pre-procedure assessments and recovery room nursing.
• Train student nurses and assist in employee orientation.
• Lead in complex clinical situations and maintain clinical policies.

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey APRN license.
• 2+ years of NP clinical experience (RN experience considered).
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds unassisted.
• Intermediate computer skills (EHR preferred).
