Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care for healthy retired Sisters and those in various illness phases, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The RN must apply knowledge of infection control, safety, and effective communication while delivering or delegating care.

Requirements:

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interpret medical records and nursing care plans
• Minimum one year of gerontology experience preferred
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of psychotropic and geriatric drugs
• Current RN licensure in Texas
