Position Type: Part-Time (16 hours per week)
Position Overview
Athens Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide exceptional medical nutrition therapy for residents. This role involves developing and evaluating dietary plans, educating residents and their families, and consulting on nutritional services to enhance residents’ quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ dietary needs.
Develop and maintain individualized dietary care plans to address nutritional goals and concerns.
Collaborate with residents and families to review and refine care plans.
Guide dietary personnel in implementing care plans effectively.
Identify special equipment and utensils needed for residents.
Analyze patient charts and provide recommendations for medical nutrition therapy.
Qualifications
Licensure: Licensed Registered Dietitian.
Experience:
Two years as a professional dietitian in long-term care with administrative responsibilities, or
One year as a consulting dietitian for long-term care facilities.
