LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Job Description

– Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
– Conduct health coaching sessions with patients to promote wellness and disease prevention
– Assist with procedures such as Botox injections and neonatal ventilator management
– Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks to document patient information accurately
– Adhere to infection control standards and protocols to ensure patient safety
– Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
– Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques
– Manage durable medical equipment (DME) for patients as needed
– Provide occupational health services, including pre-employment screenings and workplace injury assessments

Qualifications:

– *Recent LPN experience*
– Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment
– Knowledge of medical coding and billing practices
– Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks
– Strong understanding of infection control procedures and protocols
– Experience with neonatal ventilator management is preferred but not required
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
– Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

*Must have one year recent LPN experience in a Rehab setting*

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
