Are you a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) seeking an exciting opportunity in a state-of-the-art inpatient program?

We’re actively looking for qualified candidates, including those recently credentialed, to join the team in Bluefield, WV.

* Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM *(No weekends, holidays off, no on-call)*
* Manageable patient load: up to 2 initial consults and 14-18 follow-ups daily

*As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) you will: *
* Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including patient history, mental status exams, and assessments of behavioral health needs.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending therapy options.
* Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans and medications as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Provide crisis intervention and support, addressing acute mental health issues when required.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists, to coordinate care for patients.
* Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records (Epic) systems.
* Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain professional licensure and certification.
* Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development opportunities.

*Qualifications for this PMHNP position include: *
* Current and unencumbered West Virginia Nursing license with PMHNP credentials
