The Gardens is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. We are a small 45-bed facility located on the west side of Colorado Springs. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life. Your role will involve assessing patients’ needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions.

** This job will include work at our sister facility, Sundance Skilled Nursing & Rehab, located here in Colorado Springs.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

– Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
– Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients’ goals and needs
– Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ functional abilities
– Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
– Provide education and support to patients and their families
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries

Skills:

– Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
– Experience in speech therapy, occupational health, critical care, or case management is a plus
– Excellent patient service skills with the ability to establish rapport and build trust
– Solid understanding of anatomy and physiology
– Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay: $47.00 – $50.00 per hour
