Are you a dedicated Physical Therapist seeking an opportunity to make a difference? The Advocacy & Resource Center is seeking a Part-Time, licensed Physical Therapist registered with the New York State Board of Licensure, with a passion for providing care to individuals with disabilities.
*Duties & Responsibilities:*
* Conduct formal physical therapy assessments.
Develop and oversee implementation of Physical Therapy programs.
Promptly respond to special reviews and injury investigations.
* Work within an Article 16 Clinic , following OPWDD guidelines.
* Participate in team meetings and ensure accurate documentation of treatment.
Implement and revise programs as needed for optimal patient outcomes.
* Evaluate participants for wheelchairs and coordinate equipment repairs.
Obtain prescriptions and write justification letters for durable medical equipment repairs.
* Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and community agencies.
*Requirements:*
New York State Board of Licensure registration as a Physical Therapist.
Minimum one year of experience in physical therapy, preferably with individuals with disabilities.
A clean driving record.
