As a Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control / Clinical Educator, you will be crucial in our commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services. This position involves overseeing infection control measures, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff. Your responsibilities will include implementing infection prevention protocols, educating healthcare teams on best practices, and conducting training sessions to enhance clinical knowledge.

Implement and oversee infection control measures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment within the hospital.
Develop and update infection control policies in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct training sessions to enhance clinical knowledge and promote adherence to best infection control practices in patient care; fostering a culture of awareness and accountability.
Monitor and enforce compliance with infection control policies and procedures across the hospital.
Conduct investigations in infectious disease outbreaks and formulate effective response strategies.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement timely and appropriate interventions during outbreaks.

Your Experience Matters What were looking for:

Education & Licensure: A graduate of an accredited school of nursing; valid Indiana State license to practice as a Registered Nurse and demonstrates an understanding of the hospital’s epidemiology and infectious disease principles. MSN preferred.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience as a Registered Nurse and experience with infection control preferred. Nursing leadership in training and formulating curriculum preferred.
Additional Skill Requirements: A thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations, and all other state and federal regulatory standards.

Compensation:
