Big Dog Ranch Rescue(“BDRR”) is the largest cage free, no kill dog rescue in the United States. We are currently seeking a 3rd veterinarian preferably with experience in shelter medicine to perform medical/surgical care of dogs in our facility located in Palm Beach County.
* Veterinarian with minimum 1-3 years’ experience.
* Ability to thoroughly document and perform a high volume of spay/neuters per day.
* An ideal candidate would have continued education in high volume spay/neuters.
* Perform pre-and post-operative examinations on all patients.
* Provide supervision and training of veterinary technicians working with you.
* Adhere to state and federal regulations as well as organizational protocol regarding animal care, treatment, advocacy, and the mission of the organization.
* Must have the ability to collaborate with other Veterinarians.
* Work in conjunction as a team with two other full-time Veterinarians to ensure smooth operation of the medical clinic.
* Flexible weekend coverage is needed. Schedule can be flexible on other days.



*Requirements and Qualifications*
* 1-3 or more years of experience in Veterinary Medicine.
* Must have or be able to obtain a license to practice Veterinary Medicine in the State of Florida.
* USDA Category I certification.
* Possess good surgical skills and able to sustain a heavy surgical schedule.
* Able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
* Committed to the mission of the organization and the goal of saving dogs.

*Position Classification*
* Veterinarian position is a full time, exempt position, supervised by the CEO.
* Salary $150,000.
