Type of Facility: Pediatric Medical Center
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Provide physical therapy services to pediatric patients in 45-minute sessions
– Treat 6-8 patients per day in a 1:1 ratio
– Specialize in pediatric orthopedics and wound care
– Work with a diverse patient population, including a large Spanish-speaking community
– Collaborate with a team including translators, other PTs, and PTAs
– Adapt treatment plans to meet individual patient needs
Requirements:
– Active Texas PT license
– Minimum 1 year of pediatric physical therapy experience
– Current CPR certification
– Spanish language skills preferred
– Strong clinical skills in pediatric orthopedics and wound care
