-We are a state of the art, short-term skilled nursing facility that has been open for over 17 years now.

-We specialize in transitional rehab care for patients that need nursing care for several weeks before they return back home.

-We are currently looking to hire a full-time licensed Speech Therapist, SLP Must be licensed in the state of Arizona.

-Hours are full-time based on the schedule to treat patients. New Hire Bonus offered $5000.

-We are hiring therapists who preferably have at least 1-2 years’ experience, preferably working in a healthcare environment, skilled nursing/rehab. Will also consider new grads.

-Must be friendly, outgoing, and able to work efficiently and independently

-Speech Therapists are expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills with patient treatment plan development and implementation. Under the direction of the Rehab Services Manager, the Speech Therapist (SLP) collaborates with therapy and nursing teams to help patients achieve the highest clinical outcome using evidenced based practices. The SLP provides patient instruction, treatment, and training to restore patient independence in activities of daily living. The Speech Therapist teaches and trains patients, caregivers, and support staff with consistent methods and approaches.

Work Location: In person

Duties:
– Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
– Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on assessment results
– Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
– Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and educators, to develop comprehensive care plans
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:
– Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
– Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
– Previous experience in a clinical or educational setting preferred
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Knowledge of current research and best practices in Speech-Language Pathology

Pay: $50.00 – $55.00 per hour
